Get ready to impress at your next cookout with these mouthwatering BBQ Pork Ribs. Slow-cooked to perfection and slathered in a smoky, sweet BBQ sauce, these ribs are sure to be a hit with everyone.

Ingredients:

2 racks of pork ribs (about 4-5 lbs)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)

2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup apple juice

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ribs:

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. This helps the ribs cook more evenly and makes them more tender.

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).

2. Season the Ribs:

Rub the ribs with olive oil, then coat them evenly with the spice mixture, pressing it into the meat.

3. Cook the Ribs:

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Pour the apple cider vinegar and apple juice around the ribs.

Cover the baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

4. Grill and Glaze:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Brush both sides of the ribs with BBQ sauce.

Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-10 minutes on each side, basting with more BBQ sauce and turning occasionally, until the sauce is caramelised and the ribs are nicely charred.

5. Serve:

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before cutting them into individual portions.

Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Tips:

Tender Ribs: Cooking the ribs low and slow in the oven ensures they become tender and juicy.

Char and Flavour: Finishing the ribs on the grill gives them that irresistible smoky flavour and caramelised glaze.

Resting Time: Allowing the ribs to rest for a few minutes after grilling helps the juices redistribute, making them even more delicious.

These BBQ Pork Ribs are perfect for any occasion, from a casual family dinner to a festive summer barbecue. Pair them with coleslaw, cornbread, or your favourite side dishes for a complete meal.
